Greater New Orleans Mobile Unit Consortium
The GNO Consortium is pleased to serve as a Chapter and Healthcare Partner
of the Mobile Health Clinics Network
Who We Are
The GNO Mobile Unit Consortium is a collaborative of health providers who deliver services in a mobile setting
Our mission is to share, learn, and collaborate about the uniqueness of delivering healthcare services in a mobile setting in order to optimally address health disparities.
Our goal is to ensure that each provider team is able to connect people to resources in their community and to deliver high-quality health services in areas where there is limited access to care.
Mobile Units provide a unique opportunity to reach communities where there are limited health services or barriers to accessing care. The Greater New Orleans Mobile Unit Consortium is comprised of ten mobile health units that have a common goal of providing health care for our New Orleans neighbors. The mobile units form a diverse group of services including: pre-natal care, dental care, primary care, behavioral health, fitness, and immunizations.
Community Outreach
Many of the mobile units in the Consortium are available to provide outreach services outside of their regular schedule, though each mobile unit provides different services and targets different populations. Contact the Consortium if you are interested in having a mobile unit at your next community event or health fair.
