Mobile Health Coalition of South Florida
The MHCSF is pleased to serve as a Chapter and Healthcare Partner
of the Mobile Health Clinics Network
Who We Are
The Mobile Health Coalition of South Florida held its initial meeting in November 2006. Participants in the Coalition represent organizations that operate Mobile Health clinics and allied healthcare associates. The clinics offer a wide range of services, including primary care, vision care, HIV/AIDS testing, mammography, dental care, and chiropractic services. The host organizations include, among others, community health centers, homeless shelters, hospitals, public health departments, and medical centers.
Coalition Mission
There are many Mobile Health clinics operating in South Florida. Before forming the Coalition, there was no relationship between these clinics and many organizations were unaware of each others’ existence. The Coalition’s primary mission is to bring everyone together, learn about the various programs operating in our region, build continuing relationships, and foster ways for collaboration. In the spirit of this mission, we encourage establishing partnerships for working together as a team in building capacity and strengthening the network of our Mobile Health providers.
